Margaret, that sounds like a complicated situation indeed. This novel does look at how Christianity appears from a Muslim perspective, and how foreign this idea of a loving God is. If my copy doesn’t come to you, I hope you find one elsewhere because it might help. May God work how He chooses in these hearts.

Yes, I would like to enter your drawing for “Mohamed’s Moon” by Keith Clemons. I find it interesting and potentially helpful in a somewhat similar situation taking place now — a Christian dating a person who comes from a mixed background, with a Muslim father and a Buddhist mother, in a Hindu community. Needless to say, the one with the Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu background is very mixed up and feels the Christian concept of full forgiveness and grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone is a total cop out.

Thank you for sharing this gently read book.

It’s really quite amazing how God allows us to be in various overwhelming situations — just so that He can refine us in faith, hope and love….. Every word of God comforts and strengthens us as we look to Him in our needs….. I like to think of how God had every word written just for us….. :)
